Last two weeks (I think), I was able to finish all 40 episodes of Daddy Long Legs the anime series. This has been one of my wishlist since I watched it back when I’m still in my elementary days.

Daddy Long Legs is originally a novel by Jean Webster. It is a story about Judy “Jerusha” Abbott, an orphan girl from John Grier Orphanage. She got into high school through the help of her benefactor whom she named, “Daddy Long Legs.” As a return for her studying, she was obligated to write letter to his Daddy about her everyday life.

The story tackles how a girl who was once unknown came to be known through her beliefs,  principles and her writings.

As a whole, this series is really enjoy to watch. It brings back childhood chills to my veins. Hihi. The very reason why this series is my all-time favorite is because of how Judy writes letters especially how she draws his Daddy Long Legs. :)

“Before me, a gate to a limitless world opens. No matter what hard or lonely times await, I will face them without fail. And for all the people who have kindly supported me, and for all of my friends, I promise to do my best.” -Judy Abbott

From the child-like and dense,
Candy Z.
