Candy Zinampan is my full name, a BS Information Technology graduate from PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila. I’m currently working as a Systems Integration Engineer.

I’m a bit strange but still ordinary. I am fascinated by music, arts, literature pieces, photography, films, almost everything. Admittedly, I’m a frustrated everything. I am quite of a hobbyist, doing stuff that meant to be much like nothing.

I have my deepest admiration to Johnny Depp. I find pleasure in things like: polka dots, reds, florals, eiffel tower, Jack Skellington, Daddy Long Legs, pizza + lasagna, ferrero rocher, old-fashioned clothes, boots, vintage.

I started this blog in 2010 but I started blogging “properly” in the late 2010 to 2011 (I think).

Why Everyday Essay?

It is a concept that came from the quote in the book of Bob Ong, “ABNKKBSNPLAko?!”. It talks about the writer’s life as a student.

“Nalaman kong hindi pala exam na may passing rate ang buhay. Hindi ito multiple choice, identification, true or false, enumeration, or fill in the blanks na sinasagutan, kundi essay (tama o mali ang sagot) na isinusulat araw-araw. Hinuhusgahan ito hindi base sa tama o mali ang sagot, kundi base sa kung may kabuluhan ang mga naisulat o wala. Allowed ang erasures.”

I was inspired by the idea of how your everyday life can become an essay. So that’s how it all begun.

Basically, this blog is all about me. My inspirations, aspirations and admiration.
